JP Fort Ceramics

My ceramics journey started in 2023 when I took my first ceramics course at the Edinburgh Ceramics Workhop. From the moment I threw my first wobbly cylinder on the pottery wheel, I was hooked. Once the ceramics course ended, I bought a pottery wheel for my home and started making ceramics in a small corner of my kitchen.

In early 2026, I officially moved from my small kitchen studio to a proper studio at WASPS' Riverside House which is where I am currently based.

My work includes functional stoneware pottery such as mugs, bowls and plates and I am currently exploring sculptural work and glaze creation.
